Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 28, 2026 · Last updated: April 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Solara Interactive LLC (dba Launitec) ("Launitec", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information in connection with the Launitec Seller Insights service (the "Service"), which provides Amazon Brand Analytics reporting, Sponsored Ads management, and related advisory services to Amazon Selling Partners (each, a "Client"). This policy is written to comply with Amazon's Data Protection Policy (DPP), Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), and applicable data-protection law including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide to us
- Contact details (name, business name, email address, phone number) when you submit our contact form, request a consultation, or sign a services agreement.
- Billing information (company name, billing address, tax ID) when you become a paying Client. Payment-card data is processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe) and is not stored on our servers.

2.2 Information we receive from Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API)
When a Client authorizes Launitec Seller Insights through Amazon's OAuth flow, we retrieve, on a defined schedule and only with respect to the authorizing Client's account, the following categories of data:
- Brand Analytics reports (Search Query Performance, Top Search Terms, Repeat Purchase Behavior, Item Comparison, and similar reports for the Client's enrolled brands)
- Aggregated, non-PII order and traffic reports needed to compute advertising performance (e.g., Sales and Traffic Business Reports)
- Catalog metadata for the Client's ASINs
- Advertising performance data when authorized through the Amazon Ads API
We do not request, retrieve, or store any Personally Identifiable Information ("PII") of Amazon shoppers (such as buyer names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses). The Brand Analytics role does not provide such PII, and we do not request the Restricted Roles that would.
2.3 Website usage data
This website uses minimal first-party analytics to measure page views and aggregate traffic patterns. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. A cookie consent banner is displayed in regions where required.
3. How we use information
- To deliver the Service to you (analytics reports, PPC management, dashboards, advisory).
- To respond to your inquiries and support requests.
- To bill you and maintain accounting records.
- To improve the Service's reliability and security.
- To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not use Amazon Selling Partner data for any purpose other than delivering the contracted Service to the authorizing Client.
4. Restrictions on data use (Amazon AUP §4.4 and §4.5)
In addition to the general restrictions above, we expressly comply with Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy:
- No aggregation across Clients. We do not aggregate data across Clients' businesses or customers obtained through the Amazon Services API to provide or sell to any party, including competing Clients or third parties.
- No sharing of insights about Amazon's business. We do not promote, publish, or share insights about Amazon's business, and we do not use insights about Amazon's business for our own business purposes.
5. How we share information
We share information only as described below:
- With the authorizing Client. Reports and analyses derived from a Client's SP-API data are delivered to that Client only.
- With service sub-processors. A limited number of vetted sub-processors host or transmit data on our behalf (e.g., AWS for hosting, Stripe for payments, Google Workspace for email). Each sub-processor is bound by a written data-processing agreement that requires AUP/DPP-compatible safeguards. A current sub-processor list is available on request.
- When required by law. We may disclose information when required by valid legal process. We will notify the affected Client unless legally prohibited.
- In a corporate transaction. If Launitec is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred subject to the same protections.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information or Amazon Selling Partner data to any party for any purpose.
6. Data security
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
- All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
- Production credentials and API keys are stored in a managed secrets vault (AWS Secrets Manager) and rotated regularly.
- Access to production systems is limited to named, contractually bound personnel and protected by multi-factor authentication.
- Access logs are retained for at least 90 days and reviewed quarterly.
- We maintain a written information-security program and incident-response plan, reviewed at least annually.
7. Data retention and deletion
Amazon Selling Partner data retrieved on behalf of a Client is retained only for as long as the Client engagement is active, plus a 30-day grace period for service continuity. After that period, all production and backup copies are securely destroyed. A Client may request immediate deletion at any time by emailing comunicaciones@launitec.com; we will confirm deletion within 7 business days.
Contact-form submissions, billing records, and other data we collect directly are retained only for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected and to comply with our legal obligations.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, port, restrict the processing of, or delete personal information we hold about you, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email comunicaciones@launitec.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
9. International data transfers
Launitec's primary infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other valid transfer mechanisms.
10. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to active Clients by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
12. Security incident notification
In the event of a confirmed security incident affecting your data, we will notify you and Amazon (where required by the Solution Provider Agreement) as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours after detection, in accordance with our incident-response plan.
